Start-Ups & First-Time Founders
Incorporation, share structure, registrations, first-year deadline calendar and a bookkeeping system that will not need rebuilding in year two.

Where you are right now
You have a company number, or you are about to. The shares were issued in whatever split the formation site defaulted to. You are not sure whether to register for VAT, PAYE or both, and the first accounts date is somewhere in a Companies House email. Receipts are in a drawer and a spreadsheet, and you suspect the spreadsheet will not survive the first year of real trading.
What we do about it
Bilal, a chartered accountant and the firm's director, takes the first call himself. We look at the share structure before anything else, because it is cheapest to fix now. Then we deal with the registrations that apply to you, set out a calendar of every filing due in the first year, and put bookkeeping software in place with a chart of accounts that will still make sense when you have staff.
It starts with a 30-minute call. We review whatever exists, which at this stage may be a certificate of incorporation and little else, and agree a fixed fee before any work begins.
