A chartered practice that does the whole job, and tells you what it means.

Haris looks after new client relationships and is usually the first person a prospective client speaks to. His job is to work out what a business needs before anyone quotes for it.

He joins the firm from the operating side rather than the accounting side. Over the past two decades he has run and rebuilt businesses in media, telecoms and advertising. He led a national triple-play network rollout, founded one of the first large-scale digital out-of-home advertising companies in his market, and served as Chief Operating Officer of a national newspaper, where he reworked its production workflows, financial controls and cost base.

He has sat on the client's side of the table and knows what owners want from their finance information. He read Business, Finance and Administration at the University of Westminster and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Asim leads the firm's management reporting work. That covers the monthly and quarterly numbers a business runs on, and the year-end reporting that has to stand up to outside scrutiny.

He has spent more than fourteen years in external audit and accounting advisory, most of it with Big Four firms. He was an Assistant Manager in pension funds audit at EY in Manchester and a senior auditor at PwC. Earlier in his career he ran accounting compliance and reporting engagements for telecoms clients from EY's Islamabad office. He works under both IFRS and local GAAP and is ACCA qualified.

Having spent most of his career auditing other people's accounts, he knows what a reviewer looks for. He joined Sharp Accountax in January 2026.

Umair handles the firm's international tax and compliance work. These are the cases where a business, or its owner, has obligations in more than one country and needs the position established properly.

He came to tax through law rather than accountancy. He holds a Master of Laws in International Business, Trade and Tax Law from BPP University London and a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University, Islamabad. He spent two years as associate legal counsel before moving into international tax and compliance.

That grounding shows in how he works. He starts with what the legislation and the treaty say, rather than with what is usually done. He looks after cross-border structures, treaty positions, withholding tax and multi-jurisdictional reporting, and joined the firm in April 2026.

Fawad works across tax and client management. For many clients he is the person who picks up the phone, and the one who either answers a question or finds the person who can.

He joined Sharp Accountax in its early days and has grown with it, moving from business development into tax and client management as the firm's work has become more technical. His day-to-day covers personal tax planning, tax preparation, bookkeeping and small business tax, for clients across a range of industries.

He is ACCA qualified and holds a master's degree from the University of Sargodha.

Amelia looks after bookkeeping, payroll and management reporting across a large part of the client base. For many clients she is the person whose work they see most often.

She has spent several years working on UK client files. That includes end-to-end accounting cycles under IFRS and UK statutory requirements, bookkeeping and financial reporting for multiple UK businesses across Xero and QuickBooks Online, and payroll processing alongside it. She completed CA (Inter) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and an MBA in finance, and holds a Certified Financial Modeler qualification.

She also writes on technical subjects, including a practical guide to the Construction Industry Scheme for contractors and subcontractors.

Bilal handles senior bookkeeping work across client files. The ones that come to him are usually complex, or behind, or have to be reconciled to a system sitting outside the accounting software.

He is ACCA qualified and spent most of his career in financial control rather than bookkeeping, which is why the harder work goes to him. He has been a group financial controller for a UK accountancy practice in Sheffield, preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts. Before that he was a finance business partner at AT Medics, part of the Operose Health Group, reporting to the group financial controller and CFO in London across one of the country's largest GP services operations.

He is a certified advisor in both QuickBooks and Xero.

Ali runs administration and operations at Sharp Accountax. That means workflow, capacity, deadlines and the internal systems that decide whether work moves or stalls.

He completed the MBA Essentials programme at the London School of Economics, which informs how he approaches process design, resource planning and internal reporting in a professional practice. He is also a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and holds an MSc in Aeronautics from Imperial College London.

His background is in engineering rather than accountancy. Over fourteen years at Ford Motor Company he moved from analyst roles into leading vehicle safety and electric vehicle energy integrity work. In that field a process either holds under scrutiny or it does not, and he applies the same standard to how this firm runs.
